DigiTrak Falcon F1 Transmitters

The DigiTrak Falcon F1 transmitters, offered in two lengths, supports dozens of frequencies between 9.0 and 13.5 kHz so the optimum frequency band for each site can be chosen to avoid active interference. A complete redesign has led to significant improvements in range.

The DigiTrak Falcon F1 transmitters provide pitch, depth, and roll readings, with 0.1% pitch sensitivity and roll data transmitted using a 12-position clock. The DigiTrak Falcon F1 transmitters are battery powered and enter sleep mode after 15 minutes of inactivity.

Housing Requirements

DCI's FT1 and FT1S single band transmitters have the same dimensions as earlier DigiTrak transmitter models and are compatible with existing drill housings that accommodate 15 in. (38.1 cm) and 8 in. (20.32 cm) DigiTrak transmitters.  The slots in the drill head must meet minimum length and width requirements and be correctly positioned. DCI’s transmitters require a minimum of three slots equally spaced around the circumference of the drill head for optimal signal emission and maximum battery life. Measure slot lengths on the inside of the drill head; slots must be at least 1.6 mm (1/16 in.) wide. DCI transmitters fit standard housings but may require a battery cap adapter in some cases.
